What center-pivot irrigation is.
A center-pivot system is a sprinkler line that rotates around a central pivot point, applying water across a large circular area of farmland in a controlled, systematic way. When properly designed, operated and maintained it supports efficient water distribution and helps reduce unnecessary loss.
